Factory Floor
Task app for a print factory. Staff use it on shared tablets, and it pulls the roster from Deputy.
I'm Jerome. I've been building software since 2016, and these days I work directly with founders and small teams. Most projects have a working first version within a few weeks.

Three kinds of work, often mixed together in one project.
You have an idea, or a process stuck in a spreadsheet. I turn it into an app people can use on their phone or computer.

Task boards, kiosks, admin panels and dashboards. The everyday tools your team needs, built around the way they already work.
See Factory FloorIf your team copies data from one app into another, that can usually be automated. I also add AI where it helps, like summarising long documents.

Law firms order medical records from inside Filevine. AI cuts a 500-page record down to a few pages.
My own task tracker. I update it by telling Claude what I finished.
Replaced the paper order list for our delivery business. 100–200 orders a week.
A free 30-minute call. You tell me what you need and I'll tell you if I'm a good fit.
A short paid planning step. You get the screens, what we build first, a timeline and a fixed price. If we go ahead, the fee comes off the build.
I share progress as I go, and you get something you can click through early on.
We go live, and I hand over documentation and guides so your team can run it. If you need help after that, I'm around.
[Testimonial placeholder: one or two sentences from Faris about working together]
You work with me directly, from the first call to the handover. I plan the project, I build it, and I'm the person you message when you have a question.
More about meNot sure? Book the call anyway. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Something else on your mind? Ask me on the call.
It starts with the project plan, which is a small fixed fee. The plan gives you a fixed price for each phase of the build, so you know the cost before any building starts. Build payments are split into parts: some upfront, some halfway, the rest on delivery. If part of the work can't be estimated yet, like an outside service nobody has tested, I quote that part by the hour.
No. The plan is yours to keep. If you'd rather take it to another developer, you can.
Usually a few weeks for a first version. Factory Floor had a working version in 3 weeks and the full first release in 9.
My clients are mostly in Australia and the US. With Australia our working days line up. With the US we overlap in your morning or evening, and you get written updates either way.
You do. You're paying for my work, so the app, the code and the accounts are yours. Where I can, I set everything up on your own accounts from the start.
Often, yes. I've rebuilt a desktop app as a web app and connected new tools to systems like Filevine and Deputy. Show me what you have on the call.
You get documentation and guides so your team can run it. If you want me to keep improving it, I offer monthly support as a set number of hours.
Tell me what's slowing your business down. The first call is free and takes 30 minutes.
